I couldn’t put it any better than WordPress did when I logged on this evening. Has it been busy? Yes and no. I’ve been enjoying the benefits of unemployment - not literally, mind you - and today, at long last, I celebrate the release of BO for Dummies XI Release 2.

 Go and buy it!

We were all quite pleased to receive the cover art for our next book BusinessObjects XI Release 2 for Dummies. This was undoubtedly the hardest book we’ve written. At times it felt as if we’d never finish, but here we are, and it feel all the better.

I’m really going to have to sit down and seriously create  the “Only in America” category, because there is simply so much that goes on here that couldn’t possibly happen anywhere else… at least not in places to which we’d like to be compared.

I hear an advert in the radio this holiday season announcing the sale of gift cards. Fair enough, for sundry reasons people find it convenient to give gift cards at Christmas. The advert continues - this card is to give your family and friends who need assistance paying medical bills. Yes, you can give a gift card to help defray medical costs.

It seems that Ed Wood (writing in from his gmail account) isn’t too pleased with the fact that Wiley opted to title our book “The Windows Vista Ultimate Bible”. I wondered how long it would take until someone would take notice.

I suppose I should be surprised; with all the unthinkable things going on in the world these days, it only took 8 months for someone to complain. I guess other priorities took precedent.
